McDonough-Whitlow, P.C. has a support team of seven personnel.
Three CAD Technicians are responsible for producing all drafting in AutoCAD, REVIT, MicroStation, and GEOPAK; cataloguing and archiving drawings; electronically transferring information; aiding Engineers in data collection and providing additional field support for land surveying. The CAD Technician’s knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines aids in quality control and interdisciplinary coordination.
James Masset joined the firm in 1999 and is a CAD Technician proficient in both AutoCAD and Microstation platforms and has trained in REVIT. He specializes in structural drafting but is capable of drafting in multiple disciplines. He also deals directly with clients on drafting projects that involve no engineering design.
Richard Heinke II joined the firm in 2007 and is a CAD Technician who utilizes AutoCAD, Microstation, and Geopak primarily for Bridge and Roadway work. He develops templates in Geopak for roadway cross sections and assists the engineers in design and quantity computations.
Geoffrey Gilliam joined the firm in 2010 and is a CAD Technician specializing in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering disciplines. He utilizes both AutoCAD and REVIT for his drafting work. Geoff is highly skilled in REVIT and assists other technicians with using the program.
Ryan Johnson joined the firm in 2007 and is a Survey Crew Chief and CAD Technician. Ryan earned an Associates of Applied Science in Civil Engineering Technology (concentrating in Land Surveying) and previously interned with the Illinois Department of Transportation for 15 months. He is proficient with GPS, Total Station, Laser Levels and pioneered our use of Laser Scanning equipment. He utilizes GeoPak and Microstation for downloading data and developing plats and plans for both boundary and topographic surveys. Ryan has received recognition from clients for his excellent field notes.
Our administrative staff has experience in accurate preparation of documents, reports, specifications, and correspondence, as well as document reproduction, distribution, payroll, and accounting. Tasks are accomplished utilizing Microsoft Suite, Corel and QuickBooks Pro software. Their knowledge of differing client requirements aids Engineers in quality control of all documentation. Illinois Department of Transportation accounting standards are utilized.
Tiffany Knebel joined the firm in 1998 and is the Office Administrator. Her duties include accounting, payroll, invoicing, tracking employee retirement plan, maintaining contract files, maintaining project lists, preparing prequalification and certification forms for numerous agencies, and assisting in research on human resources issues. She is proficient in Quickbooks Pro and Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, and Power Point.
Jennifer Mucklow joined the firm in 2010 and is the Administrative Assistant. Her duties include word processing, filing documents, preparing correspondence, distributing bid documents and maintaining plan holders lists, document reproduction, and ordering office supplies and library materials. She utilizes Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Publisher, and Access.
