BRAC Upgrades for F-16 Engine Centralized Intermediate Repair Facility (CIRF)

McDonough-Whitlow, P.C. was the subconsultant for plumbing and fire protection design for 60,000 sf of BRAC Upgrades at the Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport.

Plumbing upgrades included converting the building into a functional engine repair facility in accordance with a 2005 Defense Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Final Report Recommendation. First- floor plumbing upgrades included latrines, a break room, locker room expansion, and bearing and parts cleaning room components. Second-floor plumbing upgrades included a women’s locker room expansion. Fire protection work included a fully sprinkled building.
