McDonough-Whitlow, P.C. was a subconsultant for the design of all of the plumbing for the 445,000 sf library/museum complex. Design included fire protection systems, pump station, and a subsurface drainage system below the basement slab and the building perimeter. So, when you are sitting in the theatre and the seats rumble, visiting one of the restrooms, or quenching your thirst at the water fountain: that was our design work. We provided design for one of the numerous behind the scenes disciplines that makes a facility like the Award Winning Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum an enjoyable experience.
